The Uptime Institute’s Site Uptime® Seminar Series presents:

How to Comply with EPA Recommendations on Data Center Energy Efficiency

“Quote needed here.” – Fake Person

This one-day seminar provides an overview of the data center energy efficiency recommendations contained in the forthcoming Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) report (Insert proper title) to Congress. The seminar will expand on The Uptime Institute (Institute) guidelines referenced in the EPA report on policies and processes for measuring and managing data center power consumption, reduction and energy efficiency. The seminar will formally introduce the Data Center Energy Efficiency Ratio (DC-EER) as an effective tool for managing the delivered IT productivity “out” per Watt of site infrastructure energy “in.” In addition to discussing operational aspects of how the DC-EER index can be benchmarked and approved upon, the How to Comply with EPA Recommendations on Data Center Energy Efficiency seminar will establish the Institute’s Integrated Critical EnvironmentTM (ICE) Team as an organizational methodology to successfully implement seminar teachings within organizations. This seminar is for managers and technical professionals who already have been or soon will be tasked with achieving power reduction and efficiency goals as part of overall corporate and data center-specific “greening” mandates. Seminar attendees will be provided with study materials prior to the seminar, and take-aways that will enable them to make recommendations to executive management and begin taking immediate action at both the IT and infrastructure systems operating level.

Attendee Benefits:

Participation in the Network and other Institute seminars is limited to companies who actually run data centers.
