Toronto, Ontario – 29 October, 2014 – Upsite Technologies, Inc., a leader in data center airflow management solutions, today announced that Senior Engineer Lars Strong will be presenting on the management of existing cooling solutions in facilities at Datacenter Dynamics Toronto, in Eaton Chelsea on November 6. Upsite will also be showcasing their latest airflow management solution in the expo hall—AisleLok® Modular Containment.

Strong will present on November 6 in Hall 3, from 12:20-1:00 PM. Titled “Support Increasing Densities and Lower Cooling Costs with your Existing Cooling Infrastructure – the Importance of Airflow Management, Measuring, & Modeling,” the presentation will explore taking advantage of potential opportunities afforded by thermal and airflow management improvements. Strong will also help attendees identify and quantify further improvements available in their facilities, including using metrics and models to support increased densities and lower overall cooling costs.

“We are happy to share our knowledge, not just on improving airflow management, but on actually optimizing existing cooling infrastructures to reduce costs and increase capacity,” said Lars Strong, P.E., Senior Engineer at Upsite Technologies. “With the right metrics and modeling it is possible for facilities to improve IT equipment reliability, reduce operating costs, defer capital expenditure, and increase computer room density, without capital spending.”

As a sponsor of the show, Upsite Technologies will also have multiple products on display at the convention. The company’s newest offering, AisleLok® Modular Containment, is an elegant Airflow Management (AFM) solution that offers the core benefits of Hot or Cold aisle containment in a highly flexible, re-deployable, and affordable solution. AisleLok®  Modular Containment is comprised of the Rack Top Baffle, Bi-Directional Doors and the Adjustable Rack Gap Panel. The company will also be showcasing its KoldLok® and HotLok® line of airflow management products at booth 6 at the expo.
