Partnership Expands Upsite’s Airflow Management Portfolio with High-Performance Reusable Air Filtration Solutions Designed for Data Centers

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – July 27, 2026 – Upsite Technologies, the global leader in data center airflow management and cooling optimization, today announced a strategic partnership with K&N Global Filtration to deliver high-performance reusable air filtration solutions designed specifically for data center environments. The partnership expands Upsite’s portfolio of airflow optimization solutions, enabling data center operators to improve cooling performance, reduce fan energy consumption, lower operational costs, and support more sustainable operations.

As demand for computing power continues to grow, data center operators are under increasing pressure to maximize cooling capacity while reducing energy consumption, operating costs, carbon emissions, and landfill waste. While airflow management and containment have long been fundamental to cooling optimization, the quality of the air entering HVAC systems also plays an important role in overall cooling system performance, energy efficiency, and the environmental impact of ongoing facility operations. By integrating reusable air filtration into its portfolio, Upsite is extending its comprehensive approach to airflow optimization beyond the white space.

K&N Global Filtration’s reusable industrial filters have reduced fan energy by up to 35% compared to traditional disposable filters, dramatically improving PUE and operating costs. Available in MERV 8, 11, and 13 ratings, the filters provide scalable filtration options to meet varying air quality standards and operational requirements across a broad range of data center environments and cooling configurations.

In addition to improving operational efficiency, reusable air filtration helps address the growing demand for more sustainable data center operations. By replacing single-use disposable filters with reusable filters designed for years of service, organizations can significantly reduce landfill waste while minimizing the labor, procurement, and operational disruption associated with frequent filter replacement. For example, one hyper-scale customer avoided sending 25 tons of dirty filters to landfills each year.

“At Upsite, we’ve always focused on helping customers maximize cooling efficiency through smarter airflow management,” said Lars Strong, Senior Engineer, Upsite Technologies. “This partnership with K&N Global Filtration allows us to expand our airflow optimization portfolio with reusable air filtration solutions that complement our existing offerings. By incorporating reusable air filtration into our broader airflow management portfolio, we’re providing customers with a more comprehensive approach to improving cooling performance, reducing energy consumption, and lowering operational costs,” Strong added.

“We’re excited to partner with Upsite Technologies to bring our reusable filtration solutions to data center operators seeking to improve cooling performance, reduce energy consumption, and support long-term sustainability goals,” said Will Waiwood, National Account Manager, K&N Global Filtration.

By incorporating K&N Global Filtration’s reusable air filtration solutions into its broader airflow management portfolio, Upsite continues to deliver innovative solutions that help data center operators optimize cooling performance, improve operational efficiency, and reduce the total cost of operating critical infrastructure.
