Presentation to include case studies from data centers that utilized the CCF to right size their cooling capacity

Boca Raton, FL – May 29, 2014 – Upsite Technologies, Inc., a leader in data center airflow management solutions, today announced that Lars Strong, Senior Engineer, will be discussing Upsite’s data center airflow metric, the Cooling Capacity Factor (CCF) at the 7×24 Exchange International Conference, June 1-4.

The presentation, titled “Utilization of Computer Room Cooling Infrastructure: Measurement Reveals Opportunity (OPEX, CAPEX, Density),” will be held on Monday, June 2 at 4:20 p.m. Lars Strong will discuss the state of airflow management and explain how to calculate the CCF, what the measurement means for data centers, and how sites can maximize their capacity for cooling to achieve increased efficiency and financial gains. He will also outline several recent case studies to see how they implemented the CCF and achieved an impressive ROI on airflow management improvements.

“We are excited to share our knowledge gathered from 45 different data centers and explore how a few simple metrics such as the CCF can reveal how to right-size cooling infrastructure and gain real efficiency and financial improvements,” said Lars Strong, Senior Engineer with Upsite Technologies.

Upsite Technologies recently announced a new product offering, the AisleLok Modular Containment. Available in a rack top baffle and bi-directional doors, Upsite’s Modular Containment is an out-of-the box containment solution that can be self-installed in minutes.
